Gizeh is a thong sandal model. The upper is Birko-Flor made from Birkenstock original material that is water resistant and easy to clean. EVA sole is soft and resilient to absorb shock from the ground and support smooth walking. It is also resistant to water and can be repaired when worn out.

I needed cute, or at least cute-ish sandals. I was dealing with a flare-up of plantar faciitis. This combination of factors led me to the Birkenstock Gizeh Sandal. While they are obviously Birkenstocks, they are also -- dare I say it -- chic. They are versatile and comfortable, and the soft blue leather will go nicely with much of my wardrobe. I'm sure I'll get even more use out of them in the summer, but for now, they were nicely priced and exactly what I was looking for. My feet are thanking me for making this purchase!

Takes some time to break in, got a few deep blisters on the top of my feet and between my toes. But now they are my go to summer shoe!
I Have had them for 5 years now and the cork is starting to crumble at the flex points and the rubber is separating at the toe, too bad I would have worn them for another 5 years at least

Birkenstocks need some time to be broken in and once they are, they will become your go-to sandal. Love the vibrant colors and gizeh thong design. I gifted these to my sister and bought a bright green pair for myself. They're adorable, if you're into this kind of look. High quality, will last forever - my dad has had the same pair since the 70s.

What's not to love?
If you know your size, you wear them straight out of the box all day long. They are so comfortable, I don't need to kick off my shoes soon as I get home.
I have about 10 of these in different colors and patterns.
